Since taking the month of August off and re-opening in September, we still have had an average of five people every night to the Healing Rooms.   What is exciting is that along with new people who have come we have also noticed that people who have not been there for a period of time have come back because something new has come upon them.  We have also experienced a growth in people who would like to be on our Healing Rooms team. It is exciting to see both types of people who want to experience the presence and power of God in their lives and also have Him working through their lives for others.  As Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19; Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?"    

 For the past month, a gentleman has been coming for prayer for healing for multiple reasons.  It has been exciting to see how God has been working in his life.  The healing has not come instanteously/miraculously, but it has been gradual.  Every week he has seen physical changes and healing.  And just as important if not more, he has seen his faith grow stronger through this process.  God may not always heal instanteously but He is always working and healing. 

    A lady in our congregation (Middletown Baptist) told a co-worker about the Healing Rooms and invited him to come for healing.  He has (had) a very rare blood disease which required him to have a blood transfusion weekly.  He gave this testimony; "I got good news at the doctor's again on Wednesday.  I didn't need a blood transfusion for the fourth straight week since coming, praise God.  I guess this prayer stuff really works."
