American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware

Security Grant Available

Assistance Available to Write Your Grant

As you are aware, due in large part to the efforts of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Jewish Coalition, the state has allocated $5 million to enhance security for houses of worship and community centers throughout the state. In order to receive funding, every organization must apply individually.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh will host a workshop on Monday, Jan. 27, from 6-7pm, at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, 2000 Technology Drive, First Floor, Pittsburgh, 15219, to walk churches through the application process in order to maximize the possibility that your church or organization will receive government dollars.

The grant application can be viewed at the link below.

There is an incredibly quick turnaround on this grant -- applications close on Friday, Feb. 14, and the state will make funding decisions less than a month later. As a result, we strongly encourage you to send the appropriate representatives from your respective organizations and/or communities to this gathering.

Please RSVP to Erin Wyland, Security Coordinator, ewyland@jfedpgh.org

We encourage you to review the grant in advance of the meeting. Looking forward to seeing you on Jan. 27.

 Best,
