Meet Rev. Dan Nicewonger (Lead Pastor at the First Baptist Church Kennett Square) and Elder Chris Wells. These partners in ministry are in the process of publishing a book on worship through Judson Press. The book focuses on the Biblical rationale for worship helping to better understand it is not the style of worship that is most important but our need to make God the center of our worship.

Stepping Toward Ordination

A great day as Pastor Greg Kabakjian was presented a License to Preach. Serving as the Associate Pastor at the West Shore Baptist Church, Greg will now work with his Association and the regional Commission in Ministerial Leadership to move toward an ABC Ordination.

Regional Ministry Consultation

Several regional folk participated in a recent Regional Ministry Consultation sponsored by the American Baptist Home Mission Societies at their Leadership and Mission Building (LAMB) in Valley Forge.

Pastor Corey Fields, Pastor of Calvary Baptist in Newark and Board member with ABHMS did a wonderful job of launching our time together around God’s Word.

Our own Dr. Jeff had a presentation during our time together yesterday. In addition to serving with us in ABCOPAD. Jeff also serves as the National Coordinator of Evangelism and New Church Planting. As you can imagine, he was effervescent in what he had to share!

Welcome Pastor Zufall

An ABCOPAD welcome to Kevin Zufall as he begins serving the congregations of FBC, Troy and East Troy. Pastor Zufall and his family are so excited to see how God is going to move in this new chapter in ministry for them and the congregations they have been called to serve!
