Bradford Association ABW Retreat

Pastor Sue Wilson Radel, Regional Ministry Associate for Women in Ministry, was the guest speaker at the 40th Bradford Association ABW Retreat held August 7-8.

Pastor Sue led three interactive sessions on "Unity" which included activities based on teamwork and spiritual gifts that work together to form the "body of Christ".

Suzette Bates of Federated Church (Tim Robson, pastor) was the retreat organizer. The retreat was held at Mt. Zion Retreat Center, Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania.

FBC Berwick Clothing Closet

Each Monday night FBC Berwick opens its Community Clothing Closet, offering gently used and new clothes along with household items and hygiene products to those in need.  Volunteers fill shopping bags with clothes for both kids and adults in preparation for the fall season.

BCWC Escape Room

Kudos to Pastor Zach Wooton at the Baptist Church of West Chester. In the midst of the coronavirus social distancing restrictions, Pastor Zach planned a virtual escape room event for youth of the church. Given the months-long quarantine we've had to endure this year, no doubt lots of folk could identify with the event! Let me out'a here!!!

Delaware Disaster Relief

The air was full of the sounds of chainsaws buzzing as Delaware Disaster Relief Volunteers wasted no time to clear fallen trees and debris following the tornado that touched down right near the Christ Memorial Baptist Church in Dover, DE.

This tornado left the longest trail of destruction in Delaware history, stretching for about 29 miles and first touching down very close to the church. Grateful for Pastor Jeff Collins who quickly assembled a Disaster Relief Team to address needs in the community.

The group cleared a significant road by the church and helped a number of neighbors begin clearing their property of fallen trees. Just a great team of workers all pitching in to help. An OUTSTANDING group of partners in ministry.

Hepburn Baptist Church
VBS 2020

Despite the many restrictions imposed by Covid-19, Hepburn Baptist Church was able to offer a a low key outdoor VBS for 4 Sunday evenings in July and August. The theme: "Science and Jesus". Great job!!!
